Today I got an email from The Met in NYC. It wasn’t a personal thing – everyone else on their list got it too. But what a present! They now have a lot of their publications available for download (PDF). I downloaded lots of books on fashion and design. Madame Gres, Giovanni Versace, historical fashions – lots of neat stuff. I’ll load them on the iPad and read them with a drool cover in place.

I am off to our first meeting in a few minutes and wanted to test out the blog before I left. I can’t wait to use it on a regular basis! As it’s more interactive than email I hope we can have some great conversations and connections.
