    Nancy Halversens’ line of quilt patterns and books on panel quilts. The line is small and easy to choose from. The quilts are detailed and beautiful – they have a quaint country charm to them.
  • Atkinson Designs
    Terry Atkinson’s offers a line of traditional, geometric quilting patterns and books. They patterns can be size for blanket, bed, or wall-hanging quilts. Patterns for quilted handbags are available as well.
  • Bella Nonna Design Studio
    Many of the quilts patterns recommend using a “boondoggle ruler”. The ruler is shaped like a diamond and helps you to cut-out blocks and assemble your quilt. Most of the patterns are for table runners, hand bags, and wall-hangings. The site also sells silk flower petals that can be used as quilt embellishments.

    They sell patterns for quilted blocks, which can be used on pillows or on apparel. Posted are sewing tips for how to place quilted design on sweatshirts or on pillows. The site has suggestions on how to use some of their quilt patterns on pillows, ornaments, and gift tags.

    This website posts events on a calendar for nation-wide competitions and quilt shows and sales. They have a quarterly newsletter for sale.

    This extensive website has numerous patterns for beautiful quilt bocks and quilting kits. They sell fabrics in large squares or pre-cut strips for convenience. Patterns for hats, purses, and tunic tops are also for sale. They also carry supplies like quilt hangers, fabric organizers, and quilting hoops.

They have well-written and illustrated instructions for the novice quilter.

    Large selection of quilt patterns for wall hangings, blanket quilts, and bed quilts. Prices can vary and the designs can be simple or complex. Bag and home décor patterns are available as well. Books, Jelly rolls, and other quilting supplies are also available.

    Competitively priced fabrics with themes like Christmas, the 30s, and many more. Batik fabrics and jelly rolls are available as well. For embroiderers, they offer custom digitizing for embroidery designs. Many embroidery designs are for sale as well, some seem well-priced. Sell finished items, called “blanks”, like aprons and bags and towels for custom-embroidering.

    The site features a gallery of inspirational works by artist Valerie Hearder. Her teaching calendar is posted for cross-country lectures and workshops. It’s worth taking the time to look at her beautiful quilts in the gallery.
