This fall, two mini-challenges were issued by members of the Guild:
- Pat M suggested sewing something up that makes this season more snug & comfy & welcoming, whether a gift or for some lovely self care; and
- Karen L suggested sewing something with the oldest piece of fabric in your stash, or at least a fairly old one.
At the recent December Guild Zoom meeting, members in attendance got their first look at those who stepped up to the challenge. And what a batch of items they were! There were some really old fabrics, some snazzy and creative projects with 3D printing involved, and the usual nice, cute, and/or challenging items we’ve come to expect of members like a standard.
Now, you can also see many of those projects. They are in the gallery below. Click to enlarge and use sliders to move among images. Thanks to Reina S for collecting pictures and notes to compile into a slide show.
For past challenges issued by the Guild, and items members sewed for them, please click here. We will have more challenges coming up in the future, and creations sewn for them to be shown. For non-members, we usually announce these challenges in our free to join Facebook group not long after they are announced to Guild members. If you want to learn about them, and share what you sewed, please join the group and post your creations there.
Lovely items! Very creative and fun.
