Are you finding the Guild Challenge a little too challenging? Or have you been meaning to get started on your chosen garment but haven’t gotten around to it? Do you want a little motivation/help/company while you work on your Challenge garment?
Then you’re in luck! This Saturday (Saturday, September 21, 2013), the Guild is hosting an open sew-in day for members to work on their Challenge garment (or garments for you over-achievers). The location is the Halifax Christian Church, 51 Farnham Gate Rd, from 10am – 4pm. This event is sponsored by the ASG and is FREE.
Our fabulous VP, Vicki Craig, would like to have an estimate of how many people are planning to attend, so please use the comment section to leave your name if you plan to come.
Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Yes please. I plan to cut out either a muslin from recycled huge men’s tee-shirt or the actual fabric & just jump in. The Deciding is always the hurdle. I look forward to it!

I would love to come. It was mentioned last week that we could work on a knit pattern other than the McCall’s…I would like to work one of the Katherine Tilton Butterick t-shirts. Is that okay?

I will be there to work on my challenge piece – may need some help with the collar.

If Vickie okayed it, then you’re good to go. I will be focussing on the Challenge sewists, but others can come and do their own thing.
